Trying to answer a constant stream of questions is hard enough on a normal day working for a commerce brand. Why did sales change? Which campaigns are working? What should we do next? Some questions come from your team, some from your boss, and the pace only picks up ahead of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. You have to sort through the numbers, find the insight, and act before the next question lands.
Moby is your AI teammate for commerce. It uses the business data and context you connect in Triple Whale to help you understand what's changing and get work done. This October, new ways to work with Moby in Slack, live dashboards, Shopify landing pages, Google Workspace, and creative workflows help your team move from a question to useful work with fewer handoffs.
Bring Moby into Slack
When a performance question comes up in Slack, your team shouldn't have to stop the conversation to pull a report. Bring Moby into the relevant channel to ask questions about your connected Triple Whale data and work through the answer together. Conversations you share give Moby useful context, such as a promotion or a change in campaign strategy.
Moby in Slack is available to all customers. Connect your workspace, invite Moby to the channels where you want it to participate, and start with a specific business question. You can also ask Moby to build a recurring report and deliver it to your team in Slack. Specify the metrics, comparison period, schedule, timezone, and destination so the report follows your team's needs. Taking actions and running automations in Slack requires Automate or Enterprise.
Prompt idea: "Hey Moby, can you send a weekly report to our #general channel comparing last week's sales, ad spend, and new customer performance with the previous week?"
Build live dashboards with Moby apps
Your business has questions that a standard dashboard may not answer in the way your team needs. Moby apps turn a description of what you want to track into a custom, live dashboard connected to your Triple Whale data. You can work with Moby to refine the metrics, comparisons, and layout rather than rebuilding the view yourself.
Moby apps are available to all customers. Start with the decision the dashboard should support. For example, ask for a view of acquisition performance by channel, with spend and new-customer results side by side. Specify the date range and attribution settings your team uses. The Library brings your apps and other assets together so you can return to useful work instead of starting from another blank prompt.
Prompt idea: "Hey Moby, can you build a live dashboard for our CMO with a high-level view of ad spend, new customer revenue, and new customer CPA by channel? Show the last 7 days compared with the previous 7-day period."
Build and publish Shopify landing pages
A good ad needs a relevant destination. If your campaign focuses on a specific product, offer, or customer need, sending every visitor to the same generic page can leave that message unfinished.
On Automate or Enterprise, you can use Moby to build a Shopify landing page informed by your products, brand, and advertising context, then publish it on your store's domain. Start in chat with the product and campaign angle, review the draft, and refine the copy and layout before publishing. Pages use Shopify's app proxy rather than changing your theme. Check the published purchase flow and tracking before sending paid traffic.
Prompt idea: "Hey Moby, can you build a Shopify landing page for [insert campaign]? Use our product information and brand guidance, and prepare a draft for me to review before publishing."
Connect your Google Workspace tools
Your performance data tells part of the story. The campaign brief in Drive, the spreadsheet your team maintains, and the conversations in Gmail add context about what you're trying to achieve. Moby's Google Connectors bring Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Sheets into the workflow.
Google Connectors are available to all customers. Connect the tools you want to use through Customize Moby, then tell Moby which sources matter to the task. It can use relevant files and email context, create or edit documents, and work with spreadsheet data alongside Triple Whale insights. For creative teams, assets in a Drive folder can also become the starting point for bulk ad preparation, with connected-account permissions and action controls governing what happens next. That means fewer manual exports and handoffs between analysis and execution.
Prompt idea: "Hey Moby, can you create a creative brief for [insert campaign] following the format of [insert example]? Use our campaign context in Drive and last week's Meta results, and make it a Google Doc I can share with the team."
Analyze and create with new frontier models
Moby now brings GPT-6 Astra and GPT-6 Sol into business analysis, alongside GPT Image 2.5 and Seedance 2.5 for image and video creation. Use the analysis models to work through complex commerce questions, or develop new creative guided by your brand, product references, and campaign direction.
The value is in combining these models with the business context already available to Moby. You can investigate a performance change, develop a creative idea from the findings, and refine the output in the same workflow. Tell Moby what you want to accomplish, which ads and time period to analyze, and what kind of new creative to make. Review the analysis and generated assets before putting them into a live campaign.
Prompt idea: "Hey Moby, can you review our creative performance for the last 30 days, visually analyze our top-performing ads, and create 15 new variations inspired by what you find? Show me the variations so I can review them and decide what, if anything, to publish."
Start with one job you want off your plate
Choose a report your team rebuilds every week, a dashboard you wish you had, or a campaign that needs a more relevant landing page. Give Moby the context and work through the first version together.
