Prior to using Triple Whale, Ampersand primarily relied on Google Analytics and platform reporting, which provided limited visibility into their media performance. This lack of comprehensive insights made it difficult to assess the true impact of their Facebook ads, leading to inconsistent returns.

Solution
Ampersand started using Triple Whale in 2023 to gain accurate data and clarity around Facebook ad performance. June 2024 was a particularly challenging month for one of their clients, with performance hitting a low point.
Veronica and the Ampersand team were already leveraging Triple Whale’s attribution when they were introduced to Sonar by the Triple Whale team in July 2024. Recognizing the need to enhance their Meta ad performance after recent drops, Veronica was eager to implement Sonar, which promised to improve data quality by sending enriched first-party data back to Meta through the Conversions API. This would fill the gaps left by Meta’s reduced visibility due to iOS 14.5 and maximize the effectiveness of their campaigns.
Sonar dramatically improved their campaign performance, and Triple Whale enabled the team to accurately attribute sales to Facebook ads.
