Use Triple Whale UTMs Without Losing Social Proof

When you update UTMs you reset your learnings, but that doesn't mean you need to lose all your social proof. Here is a quick and easy way to update UTMs while maintaining all that social proof on your FB Ads.

All right, so we know you are gonna reset your learnings when you use your UTMs or update UTMs. So what can you do?

Well, you can do this cool little trick using a post id. So just grab the ad from your ads manager and then you're gonna go here to, where am I going? Share Facebook Post with comments. Got 'em. The next thing you're gonna do is in this url, let me bring this down here.

You're gonna grab this post id. Fantastic. And now you're gonna go back to your Ads Manager, and then in your Ads Manager, you're gonna create a new ad wherever you want this ad to be, whatever you want to do.

So just say continue get into that new ad. You'll name it whatever you want, but here is the trick. So grab your page, your Cares, Um, you're gonna use Existing post, now you're gonna hit Post, Id got 'em.

Throw that Post ID that you just copied in there. And now you can actually use your URL parameters. So we'll grab the parameters here. Fantastic. All right, I got my URL parameters and go back over here and then drop them into my URL parameters.

So now you'll be able to keep all of your social proof as well as update your UTMs pretty slick. And then obviously all you'll need to do is hit publish, and then off you go. Awesome. Thanks for tuning.
